The System overview Of BIS industrial RFID

2023-10-31 11:06:02

Industrial RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) systems offer data tracking and error proofing solutions for asset tracking, machine tool, flexible assembly, factory automation, warehousing, logistics, and distribution tracking.

BIS C is a system uniquely designed for solving machine tool identification applications. This system can be used with the tag mounted flush in, on or off metals and is a rugged reusable tag used in conjunction with several form factors of readers and antennae.

BIS L is a system which operates at the global standard frequency and has exceptional performance in the presence of metal in industrial RFID. In addition to read-only systems, the read-write systems come in a variety of form factors designed to meet the needs of the toughest applications.

BIS S – High Frequency System (560kHz/3.65MHz)
BIS S is a system which operates at a unique frequency and is designed to read large amounts of data from the tag. Up to 32KB of data can be read and written to the BIS S tags.

BIS M – High Frequency(13.56MHz)
BIS M is a system which operates at the global standard frequency and is available in ISO standards of 15693 and 14443. This is the broadest of all the RFID systems and is capable of meeting just about every challenge inside the plant. From withstanding temperatures up to 220C to being flush mounted in metal and tags as small as 6mm in diameter, the M system is the all-around RFID solutions for Work In Process, Asset Tracking, and E-Kanban.

BIS U – Ultra-High Frequency(902-928MHz)
BIS U is a long range system which operates at the FCC approved standard frequency. The U system can read tags up to 6m away. Like the M system, there are U tags designed for high temperature applications up to 220C. This system is common for addressing logistics applications or even work in Process applications that may require a read range greater than 1ft.

In addition, the BIS series of industrial RFID technology offers maximum application flexibility using a variety of components including data carriers, metal and plastic processor housings, and read/write heads to data carrier combinations.
